In-Person Consultation for Sisterlocks and Microlocks Establishment

Investment: $50

The in-person consultation prioritizes understanding your unique hair care needs and goals. The $50 consultation fee covers a comprehensive assessment of your hair's current condition, a collaborative discussion to define your hair aspirations, and an opportunity for you to address any questions you've prepared.

During the session, I will walk you through the establishment process, ensuring clarity on each step. Detailed pricing for Sisterlocks and Microlocks will be presented, and we'll discuss the establishment timeline.

Should you decide to proceed with the establishment, test locks may be initiated during the consultation or scheduled for a subsequent appointment. If you choose to proceed, a total retainer will be required:

• Sisterlocks: $350

• Microlocks: $250

This retainer secures your establishment dates and post-follow-up date. The $50 consultation fee will be applied toward this retainer. The total retainer will, in turn, be applied towards the final cost of the establishment, ensuring a seamless transition from consultation to your desired lock journey.

Sisterlocks Pricing

Establishments will be completed within two (2) consecutive days during the week (Mon-Fri), with time blocked from 8 am to 8 pm. Clients must have a minimum of 3 inches of natural hair. 

• Base (up to 4 inches): $1200

• 5-9 inches: $100 per inch

• 10-14 inches (max): $150 per inch

• Extreme low density/High Density: $150

• Smooth Cuticle, Relaxed or Heat Damaged Ends: $150

• Head Circumference > 22" and/or Diameter > 12": $150

• Majority Gray Hair: $150

• Note: Establishments scheduled on a weekend will incur an additional $400 fee on top of the base price.

Additional Inclusions:

• Starter Kit included.

• Hair wash, blow dry, and trim are included upon request.

• Post-follow-up appointment included, with a 3-hour time block, as long as it is evident the maintenance routine was followed and the locs are still in good condition.

Microlocks Pricing

Establishments will be completed within two (2) consecutive days during the week (Mon-Fri), with time blocked from 8 am to 8 pm. Clients must have a minimum of 3 inches of natural hair. Standard sizing will be larger than Sisterlocks. A preferred method of interlocking or two-strand twists may be selected. Clients must have “kinky/tightly coiled” hair if requesting two-strand twists. Extensions are not offered at this time.

• Base (up to 6 inches): Small: $800; Medium: $700; Large: $600

• 7-10 inches: $100 per inch

• 11-15 inches (max): $150 per inch

• Extreme Low/High Density: $150

• Smooth Cuticle, Relaxed or Heat Damaged Ends: $150

• Majority Gray/White Hair: $150 (Note: May color hair prior to establishment to eliminate this charge)

• Note: Establishments scheduled on a weekend will incur an additional $400 fee on top of the base price.

Transfer Client Consultation Process/Pricing

Consultation Fee: $35

As I open my doors to welcome transfer clients, I value the importance of a thorough consultation to ensure the best care for your unique hair journey. Whether in-person or virtually for out-of-town clients, a 30-minute consultation is a prerequisite to assess your current locs and discuss your hair care goals.

To streamline the process and accommodate limited capacity, I kindly request that transfer clients have no more than 450 locks. This ensures that all clients can secure sufficient time slots for the dedicated attention their hair deserves. During the consultation, clients will be asked to count their locs, or if preferred, the consultant may perform the count for accuracy.

In the event that I decide to take on a transfer client, the hourly rate will be determined based on the overall condition of the locs. Please note that more than one session may be required to restore the locs to a satisfactory condition. 

Sisterlocks and Microlocks Maintenance Services

Pricing:

• Routine loc maintenance for Sisterlocks and small locs at 4-6 weeks: $150+

• Routine loc maintenance for Sisterlocks and small locs greater than 6 weeks: $180+

• Routine loc maintenance for Microlocks at 6-8 weeks: $100+

• Routine loc maintenance for Microlocks greater than 8 weeks: $120+

Service Details:

Each maintenance session is a meticulous process, focusing on precision and care. In order to maintain the health and integrity of your locs, I kindly request adherence to the following:

• Maintenance Interval for Sisterlocks and Small Locs:

• 4-6 weeks: $150+

• Greater than 6 weeks: $180+

• Maintenance Interval for Microlocks:

• 6-8 weeks: $100+

• Greater than 8 weeks: $120+

Note: Saturday and holiday appointments will be occasionally available throughout the month. These appointments will be billed at an hourly rate of $75, with a minimum booking window of 2 hours.

Important Note:

To uphold the quality of your locs, I reserve the right to refuse maintenance after greater than 10 weeks of no service since your last appointment unless otherwise discussed.
